There's a bird outside that is making a squeaking sound just softly and randomly enough that at first I thought I had an ear infection and the sound was made from me moving my head a certain way.  Then I thought maybe it was my chair.  Now I'm about 80% sure it's a bird and 100% sure that it needs to go away or someone needs to make it.

I've been sick all weekend and unable to digest any food.  My body needed the food to function, but wouldn't accept any, so essentially I starved all weekend.  Now, I'm finally able to eat some few things in little bits, but I'm dreaming of a day where I can drink a huge iced coffee and a Chipotle burrito bowl.

A couple of our instructors at iFly are in Seattle to work at the tunnel up there for a month, and I'm a bit jealous because I'm realizing that I miss Seattle.  I'm so very proud of my city, and happy that they get to see why, but I also wish that I could enjoy it, too.

I'm very, very, excited to get back home for 4th of July.  Spending the 4th at the boat in Roche Harbor with all the family is going to be so fun, and we're gonna kick some major family team ass this year at those competitions.  Absolutely cannot wait!

While I certainly hope everyone had a splendid Easter Sunday, I'm absolutely positive that I don't envy anyone of theirs because mine consisted of rave-flying in a glow stick lit wind tunnel into the wee hours of the morning.  Also, I finally bested those damn transitions.  Suck it, transitions.  But I digress...

Here I am finally with the last day of our NYC trip!  It's been a week, guys.  But I haven't forgotten about this last post.  I just simply haven't been home or on my laptop in about a week.  Long time, no see, eh?

The other day we shut down the tunnel for about an hour while two of our guys went up do do maintenance on one of the five fans at the top.  I had mentioned that I was interested in going up to check out the top of the tunnel, so when they called down and asked for something to be brought up to them, I jumped at the chance.

You see that beautiful hunk of sexiness right there?  That, my friends, is the best burger I have ever had the absolute privilege of tasting.

Our second day in NYC was the only full day we had, in terms of not being on a plane at any point that day - short trip, I know.  We knew we had to make the most of it, and one of the most important things we wanted to do whilst in New York was see the 9/11 memorial.  When I was there last, it was still being built, so it was a first for all of us.  But of course, we also needed to hit up as many food spots as possible, so that's what we started with.

As I mentioned, I recently jetted off to NYC with my mom and sister for my sister's spring break, and especially to go see Les Miserables on Broadway with Ramin Karimloo.  Of course, that was only the beginning of it!  And I must start off by saying just how frickin' COLD it was!  Cold is an understatement.  It was bloody freezing.  The wind was the worst part.  Ugh.  Spring clearly has not sprung in NYC - I've been spoilt by this Florida weather!
